Abstract
Der Aufsatz gibt einen Überblick über die Konzeption und den Aufbau der modular konzipierten virtuellen Fachbibliothek Südasien "Savifa". Im Detail werden einzelne Module ausführlicher vorgestellt sowie ein Ausblick auf die geplante Weiterentwicklung von Savifa gegeben.
Translation of abstract (English)
The essay describes the conception and implementation of the virtual library South Asia "Savifa". Some services of Savifa such as the digital repository or the scholars and project database are presented in greater detail. The essay concludes with an outlook to the further development of Savifa.
