Abstract

Die Seminararbeit beschäftigt sich mit den Klöstern im Reich von Pagan. Neben religiösen Aspekten werden auch die wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Bedeutung der Klöster für das gesamte Reich untersucht.

Translation of abstract (English)

This paper deals with the monasteries in the empire of Pagan. The author examines the importance of the Buddhist monasteries for the economic and social life in Pagan.
