Abstract
Der Mineraloge Victor Goldschmidt (1853-1933) hatte weitgespannte Interessen und sammelte zahlreiche völkerkundliche Objekte. Er stellt die These auf, dass die Ziffern aus der Abbildung von Handgesten entstanden. Der digitalen Ausgabe wurden ein Foto V. Goldschmidts sowie eine kleine Literaturliste beigesellt.
