Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

The diploma thesis provides an analysis of OAIS processes and metadata standards in order to find out what kind of information digital archives have to deliver to the user in terms of probable changes to the digital object (DIP) that have taken place since its ingest (SIP). Interviews with experts from different cultural heritage institutions (Bundesarchiv Koblenz, Niedersächsische Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen, Bibliotheksservice-Zentrum Konstanz, Future Lab-Ars Electronica GmbH Linz) which are involved in digital archiving, reveal requirements that might potentially be expected by future users. Finally a prototype of an automatically produced XML-based Access protocol is suggested. It shows the user in a clearly understandable way, if and how the object has been changed by the archive.
