Abstract

Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es aufzuzeigen, wie das faschistoide Metaxas-Regime, das Griechenland 1936-41 nach einer verfassungswidrigen Machtübernahme regierte, mittels einer nach ns und faschistischem Vorbild modellierten Jugendorganisation (EON) versuchte, seinem chiliastischen Anspruch gerecht zu werden. Obwohl die Diktatur Metaxas retrospektiv betrachtet zum Scheitern verurteilt gewesen zu sein scheint, war das 'Projekt EON' der größte und gefährlichste Erfolg des '4. August'*. (*Äquivalent zum 'Dritten Reich').

Translation of abstract (English)

The fascistoid Metaxas regime, that ruled Greece from 1936 to 1941 after an unconstitutional takeover, created with the National Youth Organization (EON) a dangerous tool for realizing its chiliastic claim.
