Abstract
The reviewer praises the two exhibitions ‘Leonardo: Painter at the Court of Milan’ (Luke Syson/ Larry Keith, London 2011) and ‘La Saint Anne l'ultime chef-d'oeuvre de Léonard de Vinci’ (Vincent Delieuvin, Paris 2012), but also emphasizes that the London exhibition's new dating of some of Leonardo's are non convincing and that it often fails to do justice to the complexity of Leonardo's works in terms of content. The integration of the recently discovered Salvator Mundi into the exhibition, which is only possible due to incorrect dating, is also criticized.
