Abstract
Erste Hilfe für Kulturgut: Das Handbuch für wirksamen Schutz und Erstversorgung bei Schadensereignissen. Kulturgüter wie Gemälde, Fotografien, Keramiken, Textilien oder Kunststoffe sind äußerst empfindlich und können durch Brände, Überschwemmungen oder andere Einflüsse schwer beschädigt werden. Um in solchen Notfällen schnell und effektiv reagieren zu können, liefert das „Einsatzhandbuch Kulturgut“ konkrete Anweisungen für die Bergung und Erstversorgung. Unabhängig von der Art des Schadensereignisses erläutern die Autor:innen rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen und führen Schritt für Schritt durch den Einsatzablauf sowie die Rettung von Objekten der verschiedensten Materialien – ein unverzichtbares Nachschlagewerk für Archive, Museen, Schlösser- und Kirchenverwaltungen, Eigentümer:innen, Restaurator:innen und Rettungskräfte.
Translation of abstract (English)
First aid for cultural assets: An operational manual for effective protection and first aid in the event of large-scale emergencies. Cultural assets such as paintings, photographs, ceramics, textiles or plastics are extremely vulnerable and can be seriously damaged by fire, floods or other negative influences. In order to be able to react quickly and efficiently in such emergencies, the "Einsatzhandbuch Kulturgut" provides specific and in-depth instructions for recovery and first aid. Regardless of the type of event, the operational manual presents the legal framework of the emergency response, a step by step guide to operational planning and the necessary actions for rescuing a wide variety materials and cultural assets. This makes the Operations Manual an indispensable reference work for archives, museums, castle and church administrations, owners, restorers and rescue services.
