Gustav von Klemperer was the most influential representative of this bank in Saxony until 1914, then Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and, in the last year of his life, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Victor von Klemperer initiated the foundation of the important Leipzig branch of Dresdner Bank in 1909. He headed the Dresdner branch from 1914. The National Socialists forced him out of the bank in 1934. Four years later, Victor von Klemperer and his family left Germany almost penniless, but still in time before the Holocaust. date: 2021 type: Article type: info:eu-repo/semantics/article type: NonPeerReviewed identifier: https://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdok/7294/ format: application/pdf identifier: https://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdokhttps://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdok/7294/1/Graul_The_bankers_Gustav_and_Victor_von_Klemperer_2021.pdf identifier: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-artdok-72940 rights: info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess language: eng
