Gustav (1852-1926) and Charlotte (1857-1934) lived in a villa on Wiener Strasse at the corner of Gellertstrasse, where their three sons, Victor (1876-1943), Herbert Otto (1878-1951) and Ralph Leopold (1884-1956) grew up. Victor had a magnificent house built for himself at Tiergartenstrasse 64, Ralph moved into a villa at Wiener Strasse 86. Two of these three villas fell victim to the Second World War. The von Klemperer family left Germany in the late 1930s and sought refuge in other countries. Today, there is little left in Dresden to remind us of the once influential and respected von Klemperer family. date: 2021 type: Article type: info:eu-repo/semantics/article type: NonPeerReviewed identifier: https://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdok/7296/ format: application/pdf identifier: https://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdokhttps://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/artdok/7296/1/Iselt_The_Dresden_villas_of_the_von_Klemperer_family_2021.pdf identifier: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-artdok-72968 rights: info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess language: eng
