The focus is on a reconstruction of the original plates of the atlas in the "House of World Cultures", which make it considerably easier to recognize quite a few details in Warburg's atlas. The review underlines the merits of the exhibition, but also notes that the accompanying exhibition catalogue does not reflect the current state of research. The same is even more true of the second exhibition at the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin, which brings together a selection of objects that Warburg included on the panels of his atlas.
