Abstract
Gösta Mittag-Leffler (1846-1927) publizierte und annotierte in diesem Aufsatz eine Reihe von Briefen überwiegend mathematischen Inhalts von Karl Weierstraß (1815-1897) an den Mathematiker Leo Koenigsberger (1837-1921) aus dem Zeitraum von 1864 bis 1886. Darunter befindet sich der Brief vom 25. Oktober 1870, in dem Weierstraß um eine Beurteilung Sof'ja Kovalevskajas zur Vorlage beim Senat der Berliner Universität bittet.
