Abstract
Themastisiert wird die Einbindung von lateinischen Schriftzeichen in die Malerei als eine das 20. Jahrhundert prägende Entwicklung. Einleitend werden zunächst die wesentlichen Schriftmedien vorgestellt, die in der Bildenden Kunst ihren Niederschlag finden. Anschließend wird eine Untersuchung markanter, die Kunstlandschaft prägender Künstler und Gruppierungen vorgenommen, wobei anhand ausgesuchter Werke die verschiedenen Ausprägungen der Verquickung von Schrift und Bild im 20. Jahrhundert aufgezeigt wird.
Translation of abstract (English)
The subject of this exposition is the integration of latin letters in painting as a development which is typical for the 20th century. Firstly substantial influencing media is introduced. Afterwards, striking, art influencing painters and groupings are shown, whereby the fusion of painting and letters is pointed out on the basis of single examples.
