abstract: In der Arbeit wird eine integrative Konzeptualisierung von arbeitsintegriertem Lernen entwickelt, die Ansätze der Handlungsregulationstheorie und des situierten Lernens miteinander verbindet. Weiter wird ein Modell zur arbeitsstrukturalen und instruktionalen Lernortqualität vorgestellt. Berichtet wird über die Erfahrungen bei der Implementation arbeitsintegrierter Lernumgebungen für Zwecke der betrieblichen Berufsausbildung in der Automobilindustrie, über empirische Befunde zur Qualität des Lernorts Arbeitsplatz,über Auswirkungen auf die Selbstkonzeptentwicklung von Auszubildenden sowie über differentielle Zusammenhänge von Lernortmerkmalen und Kompetenzentwicklung.  
abstract_translated_text: In this paper an integrated approach to on-the-job training for vocational purposes is developed, which incorporates thinking from situated cognition / action as well as from classic action theoretic modellings. A concept for describing the quality of on-the-job training environments is proposed. Lessons learned from the implementation of on-the-job training environments for vocational education are discussed. Empirical findings regarding the quality of the learning environment, effects on the development of the self-concept of vocational abilities and relations between attributes of the learning environment and competency development are reported.
