I base this on the conjecture that Evolutionary Institutionalism (EI) is the appropriate theoretical approach to do this. The argument is investigated based on two research questions: Can I arrive at the outcome of 1992 if I trace the developments as an institutional evolution from an EI perspective? Is the outcome inevitable? date: 2015 id_scheme: DOI id_number: 10.11588/heidok.00018464 ppn_swb: 1655687867 own_urn: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-heidok-184645 date_accepted: 2015-03-10 advisor: HASH(0x561a6283b5b8) language: eng bibsort: FURSTENBERPANCHAYATI2015 full_text_status: public place_of_pub: Heidelberg, Germany citation: Fürstenberg, Kai Fabian (2015) Panchayati Raj in India.
