Subjective confidence is measured via a 5 point Likert scale. Surprisingly, subjects are more confident in their answer for the more complicated two color question, compared to the simple one color question. This is robust across a wide range of experimental contexts. date: 2015-06 id_scheme: DOI id_number: 10.11588/heidok.00018837 schriftenreihe_cluster_id: sr-3 schriftenreihe_order: 0594 ppn_swb: 1657070352 own_urn: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-heidok-188377 language: eng bibsort: DUERSCHPETDECISIONCO201506 full_text_status: public series: Discussion Paper Series, University of Heidelberg, Department of Economics volume: 0594 place_of_pub: Heidelberg pages: 4 citation: Duersch, Peter (2015) Decision confidence in the Ellsberg experiment.
