To prove this, Xing forwards several arguments relating to the two main areas “outer appearance/material design” (xingzhi 形制) and “calligraphy” (shufa 書法). Although the article indeed uncovers certain problems of the Peking University Laozi edition, the forwarded arguments are insufficient to support the claim for a forgery, as will be shown in the following. date: 2017-01-10 type: Article type: info:eu-repo/semantics/article type: NonPeerReviewed format: application/pdf identifier: https://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/volltextserverhttps://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/volltextserver/22453/1/Staack_2017_Peking%20University%20Laozi.pdf identifier: DOI:10.11588/heidok.00022453 identifier: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-heidok-224533 identifier: Staack, Thies (2017) Could the Peking University Laozi 老子 really be a forgery?
