These essays cover issues related to the allocation, the timing, and the economic consequences of foreign aid for recipient countries. Chapters 1 and 3 consider the allocation of official development assistance across different aid channels (bilateral, multi-bi/trust funds, or multilateral). Chapter 2 studies the sub-annual timing of aid contributions to World Bank funds. Chapter 4 examines the growth consequences of short-term politically motivated foreign aid. date: 2018 id_scheme: DOI id_number: 10.11588/heidok.00024137 ppn_swb: 1659313554 own_urn: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-heidok-241373 date_accepted: 2016-11-28 advisor: HASH(0x55fc36d8ab98) language: eng bibsort: EICHENAUERTHEPOLITIC2018 full_text_status: public place_of_pub: Heidelberg citation: Eichenauer, Vera Z.
