The first part of the thesis is concerned with formal developments, with the noteworthy highlight of enabling the use of hydrodynamic numerical methods in Functional Renormalization Group equations. This lead to the subsequent discovery of discontinuous solutions for the effective potential in the vicinity of first order phase transitions. date: 2020 id_scheme: DOI id_number: 10.11588/heidok.00028503 ppn_swb: 170342106X own_urn: urn:nbn:de:bsz:16-heidok-285036 date_accepted: 2020-05-06 advisor: HASH(0x561a6289d140) language: eng bibsort: WINKNICOLATOWARDSTHE2020 full_text_status: public place_of_pub: Heidelberg citation: Wink, Nicolas (2020) Towards the spectral properties and phase structure of QCD.
