TY - GEN A1 - Warnecke, Christian Y1 - 2025/// N2 - Optical frequency standards are some of the best characterized systems in physics these days. While optical transitions highly charged ions are excellent candidates for pushing the limits of laser spectroscopy at highest precision further, they require sophisticated quantum logic schemes to be cooled and interrogated. A novel superconducting quadrupole resonator is characterized to confine both, HCI and logic beryllium ion in an environment free of external electromagnetic noise. By utilizing atomic transitions sensitive to magnetic field fluctuations, the Meissner state of the resonator was investigated.
