abstract: Mathematik erweist sich für das Verständnis von Technik aber auch zur Lösung von gesellschaftlichen Problemen wie dem Klimawandel und der Digitalisierung als notwendig. Dabei kommt der Sprache eine maßgebliche Rolle zu, da mathematisches Wissen durch diese instruiert, hinterfragt und perspektiviert wird. Diese Perspektivierung steht im Kontrast zu der vermeintlichen Objektivität von mathematischem Wissen. Die vorliegende Arbeit geht der Frage nach, wie mathematisches Wissen in Lehrbüchern zu Einführungen der Analysis konstituiert und perspektiviert wird und inwiefern es von der, aufgrund des Untersuchungsgegenstandes erwarteten, Objektivität abweicht. Mathematisches Wissen wird durch Anknüpfungen an Alltagsvorstellungen und Relevanzzuschreibungen evoziert und Vorstellungen teilweise durch Grafiken unterstützt.
