abstract: Das Denkmal memphitischer Theologie zeigt in der hier vorgestellten Lesung eine konsistente, narrative mythische Handlung. Diese gehört in die "zweite Phase" der Schöpfung, die erklärt, wie die ursprüngliche Schöpfungsordnung untergeht, und die real erfahrbare Welt entsteht. Nachdem die Götter sich von der Erde entfernt haben, richtet der Gott Ptah die Kulte ein, durch die die Götter neu in die soziale Kommunikation mit den Menschen eingebunden werden, und ordnet die Menschenwelt. Am Denkmal memphititscher Theologie läßt sich zeigen, daß auch in Ägypten eine planvolle Mythograpie betrieben und verschiedene Mythentraditionen in einen gemeinsamen narrativen Handlungszusammenhang eingefügt wurden.

It belongs to the "second phase" of creation, which explains how the primodeal order of the world fell and the world as humans experience it in reality came into beeing. After the gods withdraw from earth, the god Ptah founded the cults to reinstall the gods into the social interacting and communications of human society, and gave the human world a new order. The Shabaka Stone shows, that ancient Egypt had it's own mythogrtapy and that the egyptians took effords to put the different mythological traditions into one shared consistent story.
