Abstract
Der Statisker und Pazifist Emil Julius Gumbel lehrte von 1923 bis 1932 an der Heidelberger Universität. Kritische Äußerungen zum 1. Weltkrieg führten 1932 zum Entzug der Lehrbefugnis.
Die Materialsammlung enthält: 1. Lexikonartikel, 2. Biographische Informationen, 3. Umfassende Informationen zu seiner Heidelberger Zeit, 4. Bestandsnachweise zum Werk (gedruckt / digital) und 5. Hinweise zu Bibliographien. Der Anhang enth. u.a. das Plädoyer von Gustav Radbruch im Disziplinarverfahren von 1932.
