Abstract

In dieser Arbeit werden Grisms (={G}rating+P{rism}) und Wollaston-Prismen durch analytische und numerische Überlegungen für den Einsatz am 'Very Large Telescope' (VLT) in der hochauflösenden IR-Kamera CONICA ({Co}ude {N}ear {I}nfrared {Ca}mera) optimiert und mit Hilfe anschließender experimenteller Tests überprüft. Es wird eine Auswahl an technisch realisierbaren Grisms und Wollaston-Prismen diskutiert und vorgeschlagen, die zur flächendeckenden Spektralanalyse mittlerer Auflösung bzw. zur Polarimetrie in den verschiedenen IR-Fenstern der Atmosphäre (des nahen Infrarot im Wellenlängenbereich von ca. 1-5 $\mu$m) geeignet sind.

Translation of abstract (English)

In this work, Grisms (=grating+prism) and Wollaston prisms are optimized for the insertion into the high-resolution near-infrared camera CONICA (COude Near Infrared CAmera) for the 'Very Large Telescope' (VLT) using analytical and numerical considerations. Subsequently, they are experimentally tested. Thus, a selection of technically realizable Grisms and Wollaston prisms are discussed and proposed which are suitable for spectral analysis at intermediate resolution or polarimetry, respectively, covering the different IR windows of the earth's atmosphere (at wavelengths from about 1-5 microns).
