Abstract
Im Zuge archäologischer Baubegleitung bei der Neubebauung von Friedhofstraße 17 in Ludwigsburg wurden unter modernen Auffüllungen mehrere Befunde des frühen bis hohen Mittelalters dokumentiert, darunter Grubenhäuser, Öfen und ein Pfostenbau. Die komplexe Stratigraphie deutet auf wiederholte Nutzung hin. Moderne Eingriffe beschränken sich größtenteils auf die oberen Schichten, sodass eine gute Befunderhaltung vorliegt. Weitere Grabungen könnten zusätzliche Erkenntnisse liefern.
Translation of abstract (English)
During archaeological monitoring at the redevelopment site at Friedhofstraße 17 in Ludwigsburg, several early to high medieval features were documented beneath modern backfill layers, including sunken floor buildings, ovens, and a post structure. The complex stratigraphy indicates repeated use. Modern disturbances are mostly limited to upper layers, so preservation of features is generally good. Further excavations may yield additional insights.
