Abstract

Die Arbeit untersucht die architektonischen, administrativen und ökonomischen Aspekte des sogenannten Schatzhauses, einer Wirtschaftinstitution aus der Zeit des pharaonisch-ägyptischen Neuen Reiches (15. bis 10. Jahrhundert v.u.Z.). Die Institution konnte weiter in verschiedene Funktionsbereiche differenziert werden. Hierbei war es möglich, sowohl die Hierarchie innerhalb der dem Schatzhaus zugeordneten Beamten als auch die spezifische Zuordnung der Beamten zu den einzelnen Funktionsbereichen des Schatzhauses zu klären.

Translation of abstract (English)

The book studies architectural, administrative and economic aspects of the so-called treasury, an institution of Ancient Egyptian state economy during the New Kingdom (1500-1000 BCE). The study shows that the institution has clearly distinctive functional sub-units. Furthermore, it was possible to clarify the hierarchical structure within the system of state official working in the treasury as well as to shed light on the specific tasks of the single official in the sub-units of the institutional superstructure of the treasury.
