Abstract
Im Zuge der Erschließung eines Baugebiets wurden 2023 in Wittighausen-Vilchband archäologische Grabungen durchgeführt. Dabei konnten Siedlungsstrukturen aus der Bronze-, Urnenfelder-, Hallstatt- und Latènezeit freigelegt werden. Neben Keramikfunden wurden auch Metallfunde wie eine bronzene Paukenfibel sowie ein bronzenes Sichelfragment geborgen. Die komplexen Grubenstrukturen und die reichen Funde deuten auf eine intensive Nutzung des Areals hin.
