Abstract

The research project discussed in my doctoral dissertation starts from a study of the nature of atmosphere as an experiential, perceptual and emotional phenomenon: an investigation of the pathic realm of human experiencing, spanning the most recent findings on emotion and corporeality. It then proposes an investigation of psychopathological atmospheres, potential revealers of a common denominator: human existential vulnerability.
