Abstract
Grabungen 1989 und 1990 sowie 2005 und 2006 in einer Wüstung des späten 6. bis 12. Jahrhunderts im östlichen Stadtrandbereich von Mannheim lieferten ein reiches Fundmaterial. Schon die erste Sichtung erbrachte bei der frühund hochmittelalterlichen Keramik zahlreiche Besonderheiten, so etwa das Fragment eines Gefäßes vom Tatinger Typ oder eine rollstempelverzierte Scherbe der Trierer Hospitalkeramik.
