Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

After the Egyptologist Prof. Frank Müller-Römer suspected (http://archiv.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/propylaeumdok/volltexte/2009/307/ ) I had adapted the base angles of 29 pyramids to my theory of musical intervals, i.e. that I had manipulated the sounds, I once again checked my calculations thoroughly (cf. attached manuscript) and found it useless to refer to the data published in Dieter Arnold’s list, Dictionary of Egyptian Architecture p. 200, as I had been advised to do, because with those measures it would have been impossible to build the pyramids – they would have been faulty constructions. The pyramids that still exist today would never have been realised if the old masters had not applied exact values. Corrections of these traditional lists – without recurring to musical theories – produce exact results that lead to faultless constructions of the pyramids, and the angles of slope clearly correspond to the tone intervals I pointed out.
