Abstract
Translation of abstract (English)
The name Bogumils stands for a religious community that existed in Bosnia in the Middle Ages. After the 1992-1995 war, the Bogumils became an important part of the debate on identity. According to it, the present Bosniaks Bosnian Muslims are seen as the direct descendants of the medieval Bogumils. The Bogumil motif serves to reenforce the idea of the continuity of their national identity.
