Abstract
Karl Craemer (1818-1902) war Arbeiter, Werkmeister und Mitbesitzer einer Nürnberger Fabrik; er gehörte der Bayerischen Fortschrittspartei an und war lange Jahre Abgeordneter des Bayerischen Landtags. Dieser biographische Beitrag spiegelt das politische Engagement des Autors und hat keinen Bezug zur Mathematik.
