Abstract
Translation of abstract (English)
Based on critique of the mainly descriptive five factor model of personality by Costa & McCrae (2013), DeYoung et al. (2010) developed a more explanatory model of „personality neuroscience“. They found connections between big five personality and volume of certain brain areas in adults. Based on this research, hypothesis concerning cognitive and psychopathogical correlates of personality in adolescents are tested in this work. Intelligence and working memory, as well as common symptoms of psychopathology in the sample of the IMAGEN-study, a community based european multi-center study were taken into account. There was only weak support for DeYoung's assumptions but correlations between psychopathology and big five personality were found. DeYoung's model doesn't seem to be applicable in adolescence. Results and methological issues are discussed in the end.
