Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to detect and characterize P. aeruginosa biofilm formation in different water systems; bathroom fittings in a hospital, swimming pools and drinking water storage tanks (DWST), as well as methods of disinfection to prevent the presence of bacteria in DWST and biofilm formation in water systems.
