Abstract
Bericht über das Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN), seine Retrieval-Verfahren und das Projekt Artefacts Canada. Es werden die Vorteile bei der Verwendung von kontrolliertem Vokabular bzw. Thesauri wie Art & Architecture Thesaurus (AAT), Union List of Artist Names (ULAN) und Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names (TGN) beschrieben und deren Anwendung im Rahmen des Projektes Artefacts Canada.
