Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

The present work aims at the homogeneously catalysed hydrosilylation of CO2, an atom efficient synthesis alternative to the conventional synthesis of formoxysilyl derivatives. These derivatives could be used as substitutes for silyl acetates as monomers in the silicone production. Advantages of this approach would be the use of CO2 as a C1-building block, the use of easily accessible catalysts and the milder reaction conditions for the hydrosilylation reaction.
