Abstract
Die Frage nach Moral oder Unmoral des Managements wird von dem Autor soziologisch reformuliert und - in Anlehnung an Max Weber und Niklas Luhmann - in wissenschaftlicher Hinsicht amoralisch gefasst. Dies öffnet den Blick für die empirische Beobachtung der Kommunikation von Achtung/Missachtung, bzw. für die Analyse des Ethischen, als Quelle von Geltungsgründen, ohne diese selbst einer moralischen Wertung unterwerfen zu müssen. Der Text geht speziell auf die Rolle von Moral in Organisationen ein, sowie auf die Funktion von Organisationen, wie Amnesty International oder Greenpeace, die sich auf moralische Kommunikation spezialisiert haben. Aus dieser Perspektive wendet sich der Autor gegen ein derzeit verbreitetes substanzielles Elitenverständnis, indem er die Moral der Manager thematisiert und Probleme des Managements, in Form von Corporate Social Responsibiliy (CSR), diskutiert.
