Abstract

The Book of Gates is one of the so-called leaders and beyond describes the ancient Egyptian conception of the afterlife in words and pictures. The focus of the journey of the sun god through the underworld is to overcome all the dangers on his journey. When processing the figures of style in an ancient Egyptian text, an attempt was made to the development, possibly the formation to follow the rhetorical stylistic device in ancient Egyptian and determine whether the selection of certain words and their position was made aware of text structure. When working on this issue, many questions remained open, some were raised again.
