Abstract
This paper will introduce the general issues associated with online religious practice within the Hindu tradition. I will highlight some of the key aspects of the papers presented at the AAR conference in Montreal in 2009 and also discuss key issues associated with the work of Heinz Sheifinger. I will then focus on the new level of religious and ritual engagement being experienced by a younger wired generation within Hinduism as they bring their faith online and unite their religious practice with their tech-savvy behaviour.
