Abstract
Translation of abstract (English)
The subject of this dissertation is the journalistic and musicological reception of Lutosławski´s First Symphony, Concerto for Orchestra, Jeux vénitiens, Cello Concerto and Third Symphony in Poland and in the West between 1947 and 1989. Furthermore, this study analyzes how the reception of Lutosławski´s work was shaped by very different political narratives i.e. by communist doctrine in the East and and democratic and anti-communist ideology in the West.
