Abstract
Der französische Schriftsteller Michel Butor beschäftigt sich in seinem Werk immer wieder mit der Bildenden Kunst. In der vorliegenden Dissertation wird Butors Sprechen über Kunst untersucht und seine Texte analysiert. Die Untersuchung ist einerseits literaturwissenschaftlich-rhetorisch angelegt, andererseits wird Butors Aisthesis in den Kontext der französischen Tradition der Kunstkritik eingegliedert und seine individuelle Betrachtung der Kunstwerke und der daraus resultierende illustrative Diskurs verständlich gemacht.
