Abstract

Die Jagd wird vorrangig als typisch männliche Domäne wahrgenommen. Besonderheiten an dieser Steinschlossflinte aus der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts sowie zeittypische Quellen, lassen darauf schließen, dass die Vorderlader-Waffe explizit für eine Dame aus dem niederen Adel für die sogenannte "kleine Jagd" gefertigt wurde. Als "Amazoninnen" wurde den weiblichen Jägerinnen ein "männliches und unerschrockenes" Herz zugeteilt.

Translation of abstract (English)

Hunting is primarily perceived as a typically male domain. Special features of this flintlock rifle from the middle of the 18th century, as well as contemporary sources, suggest that the muzzleloader was explicitly made for a lady from the lower nobility for the so-called German "small hunt". As "Amazon women", the female huntresses were given a "masculine and unflappable" heart.
