Translation of abstract (English)
Art Nouveau did not dominate Cracow architecture but it became its frequent, and what is also important characteristic and noticeable element. Being initially changed because of various kinds of historicism and later because of the influences of modernism, it constituted an essential component of identity of modern city that is still in progress.
